I am writing this to make all you Maltese Linux users aware of what I think is a great distro of Linux. Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu and ll Ubuntu packages are 100% compatible with it. The site is http://www.linuxmint.com/ . The latest version is Linux Mint 9 Isadora based on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx.

Linux Mint

Been using Linux Mint for a few months now, it's an easy to use distro and comes with more preinstalled features than Ubuntu, It's the best distro for linux beginners in my opinion.Definitely worth a shot.
