The Department of Physics at the University of Malta will be organising a seminar titled 'High Performance Computing Seminar at the University of Malta' as part of the University Open Week (http://www.um.edu.mt/discoveruniversity). This will be held at the University Campus on the 14th of March in the Science Lecture Theatre (SLT). If you are interested in high-performance computing, computational physics or related topics then you should definitely come for this seminar!
The seminar will consist of five talks:

‘Albert: the University of Malta's Computing Cluster’ by Dr. L. Zammit Mangion
‘Computational Astronomy’ by Dr. V. Debattista
‘Extreme Physics with SuperComputers’ by Dr. K. Zarb Adami
‘Regional Climate & Weather Prediction Modelling’ by Dr. N. Aquilina
